Discovering the Magic of Hand Drumming...an introductory workshop at DRUMZ. This is a perfect introduction for those considering hand drumming for the first time. We will cover the fundamentals of hand drumming including basic hand technique, some rhythm basics, two West African Rhythms and songs, how to select a drum, drum circle etiquette and more. Drums provided for this workshop. No previous musical experience necessary.

Beginner DJUNJUN Class - In this series of 2 classes students will learn how to hold the sticks and learn exercises to help develop stick control. Will learn a fun Taiko Drumming piece and some wonderful djundun rhythms from West Africa. No previous experience is necessary, though familiarity with West African rhythms and music is a bonus for you.

Beyond Beginner /Intermediate DJUNJUN Class - This is for students who are already familiar with bell/djun combination playing but want to push their edge and learn some more complex parts and have an opportunity to focus on djun parts and variations.
